Last weekend we had the celebration of my sisters twin’s their first Comunion and we had so much fun!

<—Cas    &    Stef —>

It started with going to the church. I felt so proud of those two boys when they walked up the isle with a rose in their hand. They were seated near the altar and one of them had to read a couple of words, the other one helped getting the bread and the wine from the back of the church to the front were the altar is. They were soo proud, so wonderfull! I did feel the present of my mom, she too would have been proud of those boys!
After church we went to my sisters house and we gave them presents. We – their godfather and I – had bought them a couple of watches which they liked verry much! The kids had lots of fun playing on the trampoline and eating cake and popsicles.

Little princess eating her popsicle… she loves it

After dinner we went home again, we had a 2 1/2 hours drive… my princess fell asleep as sson as we hit the road back home. We had a wonderfull day last Sunday!
On Thursday my good friend Rian came to swim with princess and both had a great time! Rian stayed till friday and went shoe-shopping with me in Beverwijk ( NL ). It was good to talk with her face to face again, not that we had so much to discuss, but well… talking with someone on the phone or internet… or talking eye to eye in person… I prefer the last option…

Potholders I made for an Aunt of mine,
I hope she loves those cute little bugs running around her kitchen

Not much on the quilting front last couple of days, though I must say it starts to itch…lol
I have so many plans for stuff I want to make, I Realy got inspired by going through this book, maybe I can make something for a friend of mine who is exspecting…

Quilts for the Nursery by: Elizabeth Keevill

Oh well, I maybe start with something easy, just to get into the swing of things again ….
